Zebra Dove (Geopelta striata)

These small doves are regarded as the most common dove found in open country throughout the Philippines. They can be found inhabiting parks and gardens where they forage on the ground for fallen seeds and grubs. The IUCN lists them as least concern with their population trend currently being stable.
