These medium sized birds can be found in forest and forest edges throughout the Philippines except in Palawan, Mindoro, Gigantes, Guimaras, Masbate, Negros, and Panay. They either go in groups or solo and stay in forest canopies where they feed on fruiting trees. The IUCN lists them as least concern with their population trend currently being stable.
